Kundalini Yoga is a science. It works on clearing the energy channels and meridians of the body, using postures, movement, breath, eye gaze, mudra, and mantra to activate pressure points within the body, enabling us to reach a higher state of consciousness and mental clarity.
Kundalini Yoga is used to balance the chakras, clearing the path for energy to rise. By opening and balancing our chakras, we enhance all aspects of our lives and strengthen our internal “survival tools” to manage today’s challenges.
WHEN: Wednesday’s 6-7:30p July 17th – Aug 21st
WHERE: The Pearl of Door County 242 Michigan St Ste B101
FACILITATED BY: Christine Zimonick
PRICE: $99/person for the 6 week session
Kundalini Yoga is multi-faceted and a class can involve meditations, chants (known as mantras), posture movements, and sequences (known as kriyas). These all allow the body and mind to be taken to a different state of consciousness and awareness.
Every kriya, meditation or mantra is timed to allow the chemical changes in the body, blood, and brain to take place.
This introduction to Kundalini series will meet every Wednesday evening for 6 weeks with each class lasting 90 minutes.
Kundalini is for everyone! Anyone can practice Kundalini. This class can be taken by everyone seeking deeper internal practices and by anyone looking to build a foundation of balance, integration, and change.
Wear comfortable clothes and bring your yoga mat if you have one (we will have mats if you do not have one).
No previous yoga experience is necessary, appropriate for all ages and levels.
Everything required to practice will be provided.
**The Pearl holds the right to cancel any class/workshop/retreat that does not meet our minimum participants. If an event is cancelled, you will be given a full refund or the opportunity to use store credit.**
